The Outlands, SAND
by
Shirin’s Winter ’26/27 collection, begins in the Himalayas: on trails few
people walk, in valleys that stay quiet through the cold months, among evergreens, dark bark
and untamed florals. Those influences become a winter wardrobe built on wool
outerwear, cashmere, grounded colours and soft, considered textures. The
collection spans womenswear and
menswear. Below,
you’ll find the thinking behind it, the seven colours, the three fabrics developed for the
season, and a few practical ways to wear them. If you’re looking at luxury winter clothing,
the materials are where this story is most useful.
The Himalayas and the Art of Looking Closer
The Himalayas are famous for their scale. The Outlands is more interested in what you notice
once you slow down: a lesser-known trail, a valley held in mist, winter evergreens against
dark forest bark, bare earth in muted light. The mountains are raw and very still, and that
stillness sets the mood of the collection.
The link between landscape and clothing is colour and texture. Deep greens, barky browns and
creamy neutrals come from what the land offers in winter, and soft wool and cashmere answer
the cold with comfort rather than show. It is a quiet approach to nature-inspired fashion,
and it runs through SAND by Shirin Winter 2026 from the first colour to the last stitch.
A Palette Drawn from the Wild
The seven colour profiles read like one landscape at different hours of the day. Warm browns
and ambers sit beside a deep evergreen and two soft, misty neutrals. Together they make an
earthy winter palette that mixes easily.
Caramel: Warmth in Golden Brown
A warm, golden brown with a rich, toasted depth.
Forest Pine: The Depth of Winter Evergreens
A deep, elevated green inspired by the richness of winter evergreens.
Cocoa: The Richness of the Forest
An intense brown inspired by the depth of cocoa beans and the dark bark of a winter forest.
Malt: Rich, Earthy Undertones
A deep, rich brown with warm, earthy undertones.
Maple: Burnished Amber Warmth
A rich amber brown with a subtle, burnished warmth.
Winter Oat and Winter Sage: Softness and Stillness
Winter Oat is a soft natural mélange of warm, creamy tones. Winter Sage is a muted, misty
green with a soft winter undertone.
Tonal dressing comes naturally here. The earthy browns sit well with creamy neutrals, which
makes neutral winter outfits easy to build, and the deeper greens pair with the lighter,
softer shades around them.
Wool, Cashmere and the Language of Texture
In luxury winter clothing, fabric decides whether you reach for a coat every day. The
Outlands introduces three material developments, and each does a different job: one is light
and fluid, one is dense and warm, one is soft and tailored.
