Story Behind the Wildlife Shoot
For SAND’s latest campaign, we wanted to immerse ourselves in nature, which led us to a remarkable rescue reserve in South Africa run by Luke - a conservationist dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating endangered wild baby animals. He rescues cubs left behind by their prides or at risk from predators and poachers, raising them in a safe haven where they thrive.

After speaking with Luke and learning about his work, we had the privilege of stepping into his world. What followed was a surreal experience- shooting among cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and ostriches - animals that see him as family. They roamed freely around us, engaging with the models on their own terms, a rare and beautiful moment of true co-existence.
This campaign is more than a fashion story - it became a testament to co-existence. A reminder that when love and security exist, humans and wildlife can share a space without one compromising the other. SAND has always been about creating from nature and for nature, but this takes it further, urging us to not just wear sustainability but to live it - by co-existing with the world and its magnificent creatures.
